Sometimes it's just about having fun while learning something new and interesting. I once saw one of these up close and he was absolutely staggering to observe. I spent a good 5 minutes just glancing at him and the little bugger just wouldn't move! I was a child back then and got impatient, so I touched it, it moved a little bit and I was overjoyed =)

On a side note, i knew 3D printing was cheap but not that cheap! I mean, you can order a badass looking thing like that geared cube for a couple of bucks, or you can order something with personal value. Truly another marvel of technology.
